Who we are

We are a local group who offer Tai Chi & Qigong classes in Long Eaton and the surrounding areas.

We offer a range of classes to suit different preferences incorporating varied Tai Chi and Qigong forms – Yang and Sun style tai chi and British Health Qigong Association (BHQA) routines. Classes are suitable for everyone.

To ensure we maintain quality standards our instructors are registered, regularly trained and revalidated with the following Tai Chi and Qigong associations:

Our Mission

At Long Eaton Tai Chi & Qigong, we are dedicated to promoting wellness and community through the practice of tai chi and qigong. Our friendly classes in Long Eaton provide a supportive environment where individuals aged 18 and over can experience the benefits of these ancient arts, fostering physical health, mental clarity, and a sense of belonging.

Our Instructors

Our instructors are passionate and knowledgeable, having trained with the Tai Chi for Health Institute, the Deyin Taijiquan Institute (GB), and the British Health Qigong Association (BHQA). They’re here to share their expertise and help you enjoy the many benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Julie

Julie has practiced Tai Chi for 8 years and first qualified as a Tai Chi for Health Institute instructor in 2017. During lock down, she trained as a Deyin Institute, British Health Qigong Association and Otago instructor. She specialises in falls prevention and enjoys BHQA routines.

Jane

Jane has practiced Tai Chi for 8 years and first qualified as a Tai Chi for Health Institute instructor in 2017. During lock down, she trained as a Deyin Institute, British Health Qigong Association and Otago instructor. She specialises in falls prevention and finds tai chi helps with her mental health and helps ground her with daily practice.
